The City of Knox will be accepting bids for a bit of street repair work in the coming months.
The Board of Public Works says it take the sealed bids for construction until June 8th. The bids will be reviewed by the board at a later date.
According to documents released by the City, the work will consist of street construction and repairs using hot asphalt concrete. The Clerk-Treasurer’s office has copies of the specifications to review.
The work will run on Lake Street from Prettyman to McGill, East Street from Water to the dead-end at the rail-road tracks, Myrtle Court, and Potter from US 35 to Main Street. Several concrete approaches are included in the work.
