Water will be shut off to Knox residents again on Wednesday morning in order for street crews to remove a fire hydrant.
Residents on Carlson Drive and Pine Street from Henry Drive to Carlson Drive will be without water from about 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. CT. Water Superintendent Todd Gardner said a fire hydrant behind Wayne’s Lube Oil and Filter will be removed.
The Knox Water Department successfully replaced the fire hydrant behind the B&K Restaurant on Tuesday morning. The hydrant was a century old.
