A new superintendent has been hired at the Pulaski County Highway Department.
The commissioners last night approved the hire of Terry Ruff as the highway superintendent by a 2-1 vote with Bud Krohn, Jr. and Terry Young voting for the position. Larry Brady had the dissenting vote.
Mark Fox submitted his official letter of resignation as highway superintendent from the Pulaski County Highway Department on April 21 and his exit interview was held April 27.
When asked if the commissioners would be appointing a general foreman to replace Ruff in that position, Commissioner Bud Krohn, Jr. indicated that Ruff would be making that decision. The commissioners appointed Ruff as the general foreman in January.
