The Hamlet Town Board took action last night to rescind town support of providing fill material for an old sewer sinkhole on a downtown property arising from a dispute over the legality of a declaratory judgment defining an alley easement in the downtown area.
When the Hamlet Park Board was convened, it reviewed plans and provided funds for making improvements at the town park, including a new water fountain, additional security cameras and a metal ceiling for the shelter house.
The Board complimented the town clerk and other town personnel for the improvements in outdoor lighting and flowers on the Town Hall premises.
