Items will be auctioned this weekend at the Pleasant View Rest Home in Pulaski County.
The auction is taking place on June 20th to rid the site of several items inside the structure. County officials agreed to cease operations at the Pleasant View Rest Home due to budgetary concerns and renovation costs.
The County Home, as it’s called, managed to receive a spot on the National Register of Historic Places around the time the home was moving residents out of the facility.
Bids will be received for items inside the home starting at 10:00 a.m.
The site itself has been considered for sale after an appraisal in May of this year. It will be listed in the Indiana Preservationist Publication.
