The Starke County Commissioners should have a better idea of revenue estimates after they meet this evening. Auditor Kay Chaffins will share a report with them, along with fund balances.
Other items on tonight’s agenda include monthly reports from the EMS and highway departments. Sheriff Bill Dulin will be in to discuss the jail commander position, and county building commissioner Terry Stephenson will ask for emergency action to seal buildings.
The commissioners will also make a decision on an auctioneer to conduct the county’s auction in July and follow up on a TIF redevelopment commission. The meeting starts at 6 p.m. at the annex building.
