The Starke County Sheriff’s Department says an investigation has led to the arrest of a sex offender.
40-year-old Bob Conley of North Judson was taken into custody on preliminary charges of Sex Offender Registry violations. Detectives with the Sheriff’s Department worked over the course of a month to make the arrest after receiving an anonymous tip.
Conley is accused of making the violations in both Starke and LaPorte counties. Authorities were able to make the arrest on Wednesday of this week.
No bond has been set at this time.
