The Pulaski County Community Development Commission has decided to become a bit more specialized when evaluating companies for potential loans.
According to a press release, the organization has contracted with the Regional Development Company to provide financial analysis and evaluation services. Officials with Pulaski County Economic Development say their services will be used when it comes to closing on loans from the Revolving Loan Fund.
That fund is used to help start-up companies in Pulaski County grow their operations. Executive Director Nathan Origer says the relationship will also provide protections for the revolving loan program, itself.
Loan requests greater than $20-thousand will be sent to the Regional Development Company to better understand the company’s cash flow history, and financial worthiness.
The final decision on whether a loan is granted still lies with the CDC and Pulaski County Commissioners.
