The communities of Hamlet, Knox and North Judson will have a better idea how much their fall elections will cost after this afternoon’s Starke County Election Board meeting. The advance agenda includes a cost estimated for the 2016 election.
Other items to be discussed are the progress of renovations at the North Bend Township polling site. The county got a federal grant to bring the building entrances into compliance with the Americans With Disabilities Act. The board will also discuss the possible addition of e-poll books as well as map boundary concerns for the Town of North Judson. Their meeting starts at 1 p.m. in the second floor meeting room at the Starke County Courthouse.
