The Hamlet Davis Township Volunteer Fire Department is ready to dedicate their newly constructed facility.
A Grand Opening celebration will take place Sunday, July 26th. The event is taking place about one year after the initial groundbreaking for the fire department. Volunteers with the fire department, however, moved into their new facility at the end of June.
The new facility is being dedicated in honor of late Starke County philanthropist James Hardesty – who donated a considerable sum to help complete the structure.
The Grand Opening will take place at 1:00 at the site of the new fire department facility.
