Investigators from the State Fire Marshal’s Office have been called in to determine the cause and origin of the blaze that destroyed the Winamac Eagles building on State Road 14 west.
Fire crews were dispatched around 8:30 yesterday morning and spent 10 hours battling the blaze. The Winamac Volunteer Fire Department was assisted by Star City, Monterey, Bass Lake, Knox and Francesville. No injuries were reported.
