A Pulaski County official is out of a job and in trouble with the law.
Officials with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department arrested former chief deputy coroner Tracy L. Rossman, 41, of Winamac yesterday afternoon on preliminary charges of theft and official misconduct. Both offenses are felonies, according to a sheriff’s department news release. Coroner Steve VanDerAa immediately terminated Rossman’s employment. The sheriff’s department is not releasing any additional information at this time and referred inquires to the prosecutor’s office.
