Pageant season is still upon us and Starke County youngsters have a chance to compete for the titles of Little Miss, Little Mister and Miss Harvest Festival. Little Miss and Little Mister contestants must be between 3 and 5-years-old. Miss Harvest Festival contestants can be from 16 to 18-years-old.
Registration forms can be picked up at City Hall or at the Knox Moose Lodge anytime after 3 pm Monday through Saturday. The deadline to register is September 7.
A practice performance will take place on September 8. Danna Clary, Moose Lodge member and pageant coordinator explained why there will be a rehearsal prior to the pageant, “During the practice I’m just going to give them information, tell them where they’ll be walking at and that sort of stuff.”
WKVI’s Mary Perren will MC the event which will take place at the Knox Community Center on Saturday, September 12.
