The Starke County Election Board will continue preparations for November’s General Election when they meet on Monday.
Board members will be reviewing a proof of the ballot for Knox, North Judson, and Hamlet elections. Ensuring proper spelling of names, and that the candidates are running for the correct seat on the ballot will be crucial in the review process.
The change of polling station for the newly constructed Hamlet/Davis Township Fire Department will also be discussed. The Board was made aware of the possible change at their previous meeting. It was expected to be reviewed by Board members prior to receiving the final approval as a polling site.
Today’s meeting begins at 10:00 a.m. at the Starke County Courthouse.
