The second annual WoodStarke will be taking place in Wythogan Park in Knox tomorrow.
One of the organizers, Ryan Greer, says the event will showcase local musicians all day long, “Starting off at 10 o’clock, we’re going to have a marching band that’s going to come in and showcase their talents, followed by a few acoustic bands, and then when it gets a little bit later in the day, the music’s going to get a little bit louder for some of the kids to enjoy.”
But he says WoodStarke isn’t just about music, “Across the park, there’s going to be different easels and places set up for artists to showcase the different paintings and sculptures and things that they’ve come up with. There’s also a car show that will be going on at the back. Lots of aesthetic things to try to please people.”
There will also be free food and water and the event.
WoodStarke runs from 10 a.m. to dusk.
