The 49th annual Marshall County Blueberry Festival is in full swing today at Centennial Park in Plymouth. The 3-on-3 Blueberry Basketball Tournament is back after a hiatus of more than a decade. Ancilla College men’s basketball head coach Aaron Butcher spearheaded its return.
Her says the tournament is a great addition to one of the state’s premiere festivals.
“We’re in Indiana. It’s a basketball state. We’re in Plymouth, which is a basketball town, so it just makes sense to offer that and allow people a chance to get on the court and play.”
The tournament will take place at the courts off Plymouth-Goshen Trail in Centennial Park near the rides. Butcher says boys and girls teams will be divided into the following age groups: 10 and under, 11-14, 15-18 and an open division
