The Pulaski County Genealogical Society is looking for a logo. They’re running a design contest open to all students, artists and inspired community members to assist them in the endeavor to find something visually pleasing, creative, professional and easily recognizable. The logo should help promote the mission, which is “to encourage and dispense genealogical knowledge and cultivate fraternal relations among its members.” It should also be representative of Pulaski County.
The logo must be professional, as it will be featured on the Pulaski County Genealogical Society’s website, social media platforms, pamphlets, t-shirts and letterhead. It must be eye-catching yet legible. Any colors may be used, but it must look good in both color and black and white. It cannot contain copyrighted material and must have been created and edited by the contestant. The logo must also be easily reproducible and scale-able for large and small format uses.
Entries are due by Nov. 3rd. The winner will receive a $50 prize and bragging rights.
In order for entries to be submitted and reviewed by the judges, all entries must be:
- Submitted directly to the Society at pulaskigenie@yahoo.com
- Submitted in their original source file
- Submitted as a high resolution .pdf with 300 dpi or higher
