The Town of Winamac is saving money by switching its business to a local company.
The Town Council has decided to change its liability and property insurance provider. Town manager Brad Zellers says the town had been using a company based in LaPorte, but now they’re coming back to a Winamac company. He says the switch saves the town around $8,000.
