Veterans Day will be commemorated with a balloon launch tomorrow in North Judson. American Legion Post 92 will host its first annual Balloon Liftoff at 5 p.m.
Each balloon will carry a card with the name of a veteran or someone else being remembered. Residents can have a balloon included in someone’s memory for a one-dollar donation. That money will go toward the Legion’s Thanksgiving and Christmas food baskets for the needy.
