Pulaski County residents will soon be able to get a prescription discount card through the National Association of Counties. The county has agreed to take part in the association’s Prescription Discount Card program operated by CVS Caremark.
The card can be used for prescription drugs not covered by insurance. According to its website, the program provides an average savings of 24 percent and is accepted at most pharmacies. It’s free to both the county and to residents.
