
A North Judson man faces several charges after reportedly leading two Pulaski County Sheriff’s Deputies on a high-speed chase Thursday night.
Sheriff Jeff Richwine tells WKVI News they tried to stop a 1999 Mercury van driven by 36-year-old Edward D. Smith at the intersection of State Road 14 and 200 West. Smith refused to stop, and a pursuit ensued.
Smith was arrested near Bass Lake and was booked into the Pulaski County Jail at 8:10 p.m. He faces charges of being a habitual traffic violator, felony resisting arrest, unlawful possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia. Smith was also issued several citations in connection with the incident.
