The Starke County Commissioners will organize for the year when they meet this evening. That includes choosing a president and vice-president among themselves and deciding who will represent their interests on various boards and commissions.
The commissioners will also make citizen appointments to boards and commissions. They previously sought a list of interested parties who meet the criteria to serve.
Other items on the agenda for tonight’s 6 p.m meeting include the monthly EMS and county highway reports. The meeting will take place in the meeting room at the county annex building.
