The Town of Winamac is moving ahead with efforts to implement a park board. The Town Council discussed the topic Monday with Town Attorney Justin Schramm.
After it was pointed out that a park board is already included in the town’s Code of Ordinances, council members requested some additional information.
The council did, however, decide to proceed with the process of drafting a new park board ordinance, with Dan Vanaman opposing the measure.
