A Knox couple accused of using drugs in the presence of their children were arrested Friday afternoon following a month-long investigation by the Knox Police Department.
Chief Harold Smith says his officers executed a search warrant at a home in the 500 block of Madison Street. They arrested 28-year-old Warren Coffin III and 27-year-old Judith Nevil, both of Knox.
She faces charges of possession of methamphetamine and maintaining a common nuisance, both of which are Level 6 felonies. Coffin is charged with maintaining a common nuisance. Both remain in jail pending the filing of formal charges.
The Starke County Sheriff’s Office and the Indiana Department of Child Services assisted with the search warrant execution.
