The Oregon-Davis School Corporation is accepting transfer student applications for the 2016-17 school year. The passage of Indiana’s expanded voucher program a few years ago cleared the way for students to attend public schools outside of their home district. State tuition money is paid to the corporation where the child is enrolled on the two student count days. O-D Interim Superintendent Jim Dermody says enrollment will be governed per Indiana State Student Transfer guidelines.
He adds the Oregon-Davis School Corporation offers outstanding academic, career, fine art and extracurricular programs that shape the development of well-rounded students.
Details are still being finalized, but Dermody says transportation service options will be available for transfer students. Interested parents or guardians should contact the Oregon-Davis School Corporation administrative office at 574-867-2111 for more information about transfer enrollment procedures.
