Those interested in becoming North Judson’s next town marshal have one more day to apply. The job became open last month, with the death of former marshal Doug Vessely on April 15. Since then, North Judson police officer Frank Thomas has been serving as interim marshal.
Among other qualifications, applicants for the town marshal position must be certified through the Indiana Law Enforcement Training Board. Applications are available during regular business hours at North Judson Town Hall. They must be submitted no later than tomorrow.
