Today is the last chance to vote early before tomorrow’s primary election. For Starke County residents, in-person absentee voting takes place in the County Courthouse in Knox from 8 a.m. until noon. In Pulaski County, voters can cast their ballots today from 9:30 to noon at the Pulaski County Public Library.
So far, over 600 Pulaski County voters have already cast their ballots there. Starke County’s had 696 people vote in-person, as of Friday afternoon, while 159 have voted by mail and 31 by travel board.
Tomorrow, polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. for Election Day voting. This will be Pulaski County’s first election using vote centers. Because of the switch, Pulaski County voters will be able to cast their ballots at any one of the five locations. These are the Francesville Fire Station, the Medaryville Christian Church Annex, Monterey Town Hall, the Pulaski County Highway Garage in Winamac, and the Star City Community Center.
Voters must bring a driver’s license, picture ID, or passport.
