The Pulaski County Republican Party will soon find a replacement for the position of Salem Township Trustee.
According to information provided by the Pulaski County Clerk’s office, current Trustee Lana Anderson has decided to resign the position effective at the end of May. Anderson held the Salem Township Trustee position for nearly 16 years.
Pulaski County Republican Party Chair Blair Todd says he will be accepting letters of interest until May 20th. Those interested can mail their letters to Todd at 708 N. Plymouth Road in Winamac. Interviews for the position will be conducted the following week.
The Trustee position will be filled by the appointment of the County Party Chairman, according to information provided by the Clerk’s office.
