A longtime Alliance Bank executive died Sunday morning. Terry Stevens of Francesville worked at the bank for nearly 30 years and was currently serving as president and CEO. He was 59.
Stevens was a 1975 West Central High School graduate. In 1979 he earned a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Indianapolis. That fall Terry married Linda Hale. She survives, along with two children, two grandchildren, his mother, three brothers and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, James Stevens.
Terry enjoyed golfing and was an avid Chicago White Sox fan. He was a true family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Terry was also a member of the Francesville First Christian Church where he served in many roles, most recently as treasurer.
His funeral will take place there Thursday, Aug. 18 at 11 a.m. EDT. Visitation is Wednesday, July 17 from 2 until 9 p.m. EDT at the Frain Mortuary Querry-Ulbricht Chapel in Francesville and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be given to a scholarship fund for West Central High School graduates established in Terry’s name at Alliance Bank.
