The Starke County Council and Commissioners will conduct budget workshops Monday morning. The meetings at the county annex building are open to the public, but times for individual department heads have not yet been determined. Sessions get under way at 8 a.m.
The public hearing on the proposed 2017 Starke County budget will take place on Monday, Sept. 19th during the county council meeting. The budget will be adopted by the council at their Oct. 17 meeting.
