Francesville Fall Festival begins today and runs into the weekend.
The 49th annual event has a whole host of activities taking place on Friday.
“We have line dancing at 7:00 by the tri-county kickers, 7:00 is our master crackerjack and candy corn,” says Kruger. “That’s a little kids contest and our theme is always corn so that’s why the crackerjack and candy corn theme.”
Betty Kruger is the secretary for the organization hosting the fall festival event. She says the activities continue on Saturday.
“At 8:00 a.m. is the Fun Run,” says Kruger. “That’s for anyone that wants to run. 9:00 a.m. the petting zoo opens and it’ll be open all day and the booth will be open all day after 9:00.”
The Medaryville Preschool is hosting a pancake breakfast tomorrow morning as well.
The Francesville Fall Festival is also listed as a bicentennial project. Events begin around 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
