The Starke County Chamber of Commerce is taking applications for its “Business of the Year” award.
Nominees for 2017 are being accepted until October 10th and the chamber is encouraging those making a nomination to make their considerations carefully. The more a particular business receives, the more the judges are likely to be convinced that business is deserving of recognition.
In order to be considered, the business receiving nominations must be a Chamber of Commerce member, have been in business three years, and promote community events and involvement.
2016’s business of the year was Kersting’s Cycle Center. Family owners were recognized at a Chamber of Commerce Dinner late last year. Next year’s winner will also be recognized during a similar gathering.
