The Oregon-Davis School Corporation plans to offer after-school remediation prior to the administration of the Spring 2017 ISTEP exams.
Superintendent Dr. Don Harman told the school board this week the corporation is looking for grant funding to ensure sustained support for the initiative.
He envisions offering help to 30 elementary and 30 junior/senior high school students two days a week from January through March. The specific program content is also in the developmental phase. Harman says the offering doesn’t require board approval, but he will keep them posted as to the progress of its implementation.
