The Pulaski County Health Department is hosting a flu shot clinic through the end of the week. It’s open to children and adults on a first-come, first-served basis.
Shots will be administered at their office in the county annex building on Riverside Drive in Winamac next to the Pulaski County Public Library from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. today; 8 until 5:30 tomorrow and again from 8 until 4 on Friday.
The CDC recommends anyone six months or older receive a flu shot. Children on Medicaid will receive shots for free through the Vaccine for Children program. Underinsured and uninsured children may have the vaccine for $8. Shots for all other children and adults will cost $20 each. Payment is required at the time of the shot, and receipts will be given which can be submitted for insurance reimbursement.
Call the Pulaski County Heath Department at 574-946-6080 for more information.
