Several budget adoptions are on tonight’s Starke County Council agenda. Members will approve the county, North Judson-San Pierre Schools, Starke County Airport and Starke County Solid Waste Disposal budgets during their 5:30 p.m. meeting.
They will also consider transfer requests from Auditor Kay Chaffins, Clerk Vicki Cooley and from Purdue Extension Starke County. Highway Superintendent Rik Ritzler will request an additional appropriation. Sheriff Bill Dulin is on the agenda to discuss the sheriff’s retirement fund. Drug and Tobacco Free Starke County will also appear before the council regarding criminal justice grants.
The Starke County Council will meet at the anenx building.
