Today’s Elections have drawn a mixed bag of rescheduled standing meetings and business as usual. Polls are open today from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m. local time, after which people traditionally wait for returns.
The Knox City Council has moved its standing second Tuesday of the month meeting to tomorrow for that very reason. They’re set to act on budget reduction and transfer of funds resolutions during the 7 p.m. session.
The Culver Town Council, meanwhile, is proceeding with its regularly scheduled second Tuesday of the month meeting this evening.
The agenda for their 6:30 p.m. EST session includes a Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan Presentation from a representative of the Troyer Group. The Culver Town Council will also consider a sidewalk request from Lucrezia Restaurant and conduct a public hearing and first reading of their water rate ordinance.
