LaPorte County residents are invited to a sheriff’s office town hall meeting tonight. It will take place at the American Legion in Union Mills at 7 p.m. and is expected to last about an hour.
During that time, administrators, detectives, patrol deputies and support staff will answer questions from citizens and offer a brief overview of department operations. This is the final town hall meeting of the year. Sheriff’s office officials say they provide an opportunity for members of the public to meet with the staff of their office and discuss issues of importance to them and the community.
