The Winamac Park Board will meet for its regular monthly meeting tonight. Other than Park Manager Dave DeLorenzo’s monthly report, no specific discussion or action items are listed on the advance agenda.
Recently, the park board has been considering whether the town should take ownership of the freight depot, caboose, and log cabin currently owned by the Pulaski County Historical Society. Members have also discussed ways to renovate the Winamac Town Park Pavilion, while preserving its historical value. The town is also working on formalizing an agreement with the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation for its use of the Town Park for sporting events.
Tonight’s park board meeting starts at 6:00 at the Winamac Municipal Utility Complex.
