The Starke County Public Library is once again offering free income tax preparation services for qualifying individuals and families.
Certified tax preparers will work by appointment only on Wednesdays and Thursdays from noon until 6 p.m. starting Feb. 1 and continuing through April 6. Saturday appointments are also available on Feb. 11 and 25, March 11 and 25 and April 8 from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.
Call 574-772-7323 ext. 1002 to schedule an appointment in Knox. When you call, leave your name, telephone number and best time to reach you. One of the library’s certified tax preparers will call back as soon as possible. When they do, they will ask questions to determine if they will be able to prepare and e-file your tax return.
