A Winamac family whose home was burglarized and ransacked four years ago while they were at their daughter’s funeral is offering a reward for information leading to the arrest of those responsible.
Garry and Rhonda White were at their daughter, Rachel Heischman’s, viewing on Jan. 8, 2013. Investigators with the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office say sometime between 5 and 11 p.m. someone forced their way into the home at 2965 S. Crestview Drive through a door.
Multiple large items were also taken from the residence. Investigators followed up on several leads, but none led to arrests.
The White family is offering a $2,000 reward for information which results in an arrest and conviction. Anyone with information is asked and encouraged to contact the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office at 574-946-6655. Officials say anyone with information who requests to remain anonymous can be assured that your identity will remain confidential and protected.
