Community Services of Starke County is looking for a new executive director. Becky Anspach was terminated from the position last month, according to Community Services Board President Judy Ahlenius.
She says that while the search is taking place, Charmaine Dunkel is serving as interim director. However, former executive director Joan Haugh has returned as a part-time consultant to help complete the organization’s annual reports. Ahlenius adds that Haugh may also stick around to help train the new executive director, once he or she is hired.
Those interested in the job have until this Saturday to apply. Ahlenius says the organization hopes to have a new executive director in place as soon as possible. She adds the transition will have no effect on the organization’s operation, and all services will continue as usual throughout the process.
Those interested in the executive director position may send a résumé to smrippy@centurylink.net, or they may visit Community Services of Starke County’s Knox location at 311 East Culver Road to apply in person.
