The Town of North Judson has gotten some new equipment that will help keep town employees safe, thanks to a grant from the Indiana Public Employers’ Plan.
Clerk-Treasurer Alicia Collins says the town’s utility department received an IPEP Safety Grant for just under $4,000. Some of the new equipment includes a tripod and winch, a 12-inch plastic blower with canister, a heavy lifting cart, and a low-profile lift table.
According to IPEP, the grant program is designed to improve safety and reduce workers’ compensation exposure.
