Two Hamlet homes may soon have their sidewalks replaced as part of the town’s 50/50 sidewalk program. On Wednesday, the town council awarded the bids to Finish Line Construction.
Each of the two stretches of sidewalk will cost roughly $1,000, depending on the length. Should the homeowners decide to proceed with the work, they would cover half the cost, while the town would pay the other half.
The town council also decided to leave the program open for another 60 days for other homeowners who may still be interested.
