The Pulaski County Highway Department will need to make repairs to its salt storage building before next winter arrives. Superintendent Terry Ruff told the county commissioners Monday shingles are coming off of the building, and it is leaking in one corner.
He adds there isn’t money in his budget to make repairs and asked whether the county’s maintenance department can pick up the cost. The commissioners asked Ruff to get estimates for shingles and a tin roof from local contractors so they can decide how to proceed.
They agreed the work will be done this summer.
