The Pulaski County prosecutor is being honored for his commitment to the local community. Daniel Murphy is the recipient of this year’s H.J. Halleck Community Service Award. It’s given annually by the Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce.
In addition to his role as prosecutor and his law practice, Murphy has also been involved in several local organizations, including Pulaski County Human Services, the Community Foundation of Pulaski County, the Boy and Girl Scouts, and St. Peter’s Church. Murphy is also an Army veteran.
He’ll be recognized during the annual Halleck Award Dinner on Saturday, April 22 at 6 p.m. at the Winamac Event Center. Tickets are $25 per person, and are available by calling Pulaski County Chamber of Commerce President Judy Heater at 574-225-2999 or Jacki Frain at 574-225-0078.
