Officers from the Starke County Major Crimes Unit found a wanted suspect and a meth lab at a home on South Main Street in Knox Monday after serving a search warrant at another residence.
They reportedly found items used to make methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia at a home in the 1300 block of Pine Street in Knox. The occupant, 28-year-old Justin Olds, was not there.
Officers with the Knox Police Department went to a home in the 300 South block of Main Street in Knox to search for him. They found Olds and Joshua Estok, according to the incident report, and were given consent to search the premises. They reportedly found an active methamphetamine lab, precursors and meth inside the residence.
Olds is charged with dealing methamphetamine, possession of chemical reagents or precursors, possession of methamphetamine and visiting a common nuisance. Estok, 43, is charged with maintaining a common nuisance.
The Indiana State Police Clandestine Lab Team assisted with the cleanup.
