The Vurpillat Opera House in downtown Winamac will soon have a new tenant.
Main Street Floral will soon open in the storefront at the corner of Main and Market Streets across from the Pulaski County Courthouse. It will be an official FTD store. A licensed designer will offer full-service bouquets, arrangements and gifts for all occasions.
Doug and Carrie Hoffman recently signed a five-year lease on the building’s south storefront, according to Realtor Ryan Harrison.
An opening date for the business has not yet been announced. The Vurpillat Opera House was built in 1882 and is listed on the National and Indiana Register of Historic Places.
