Additional improvements are planned at the Eastern Pulaski School Corporation over the summer. Superintendent Dan Foster says the school board this week approved four of five projects under consideration. They include installation of a backflow preventer recommended by the town and painting of the elementary school locker room. Foster says it’s used by the athletic department.
A new gym floor will be installed at the elementary school, and the gym roof will be replaced.
The board also discussed replacing the water heater at the elementary school but decided to wait before proceeding.
Money left over from the recent extensive renovation project will be used to cover the cost of the approved improvements.
