N.J.-S.P. School Board Hires New Boys Basketball Coach

The North Judson-San Pierre School Board last night hired a new boy’s basketball coach. Superintendent Dr. Annette Zupin says the position was posted twice. The second time five candidates applied, but none were licensed in the teaching areas currently open within the corporation.

After interviewing the candidate pool, the school board offered the job to Kyle Evans. Zupin describes him as a young coach with a lot of energy and says they are excited to bring him on board. He’s previously coached at West Central and Caston.

Zupin says Evans will establish a comprehensive player development program at all levels at N.J.-S.P. and says the corporation is excited to watch their young men grow both on and off the field under Evans’ leadership.

Evans will only coach at N.J.-S.P. He will not have a teaching position.
