The Railroad Township Advisory Board will meet this evening to fill a seat on the North Judson-San Pierre School Board.
Members last week interviewed four candidates for the seat currently held by board president Pat Goin. She is not seeking reappointment.
Candidates Cassandra Hine, Megan Korous, Susan McCormack and Deb Wappel were all questioned about their goals and philosophies in a public forum.
The Railroad Township Advisory Board has the sole decision making authority with regard to the appointment. Members are Gus Eckert, Clarence Gerkhe and Mike Lawecki.
The new board member’s four-year term will begin in July.
